Service terms
These terms apply to the First Call Pages founder website package supplied to business customers.
Version 1.3 — 5 September 2026
Supplier: William Borrow, a sole trader trading as First Call Pages
Business address: 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 6EB
Email: will@firstcallpages.com
1. Business customers only
The founder package is offered only to customers buying wholly or mainly for their trade, business, craft or profession. By placing an order, the client confirms that it is acting as a business and that the person ordering has authority to bind that business. Please do not purchase through the payment link for personal or household purposes.
2. Forming the contract
The website describes the standard package but is not, by itself, a binding offer. A contract is formed when First Call Pages confirms the project by email after receiving the £99 booking payment. The contract consists of that confirmation, the agreed project brief and these terms. If a written proposal expressly differs from these terms, the proposal takes priority for that difference.
3. Standard project
The £199 founder package includes one custom, responsive website page; copy based on the client's supplied information; mobile, tablet and desktop layouts; appropriate call, email or WhatsApp actions; basic title, description and semantic search setup; a contact route; one consolidated revision round; deployment to one client-controlled domain; and a handover copy of the completed files.
Unless agreed in writing, it does not include branding or logo design, photography, ecommerce, booking systems, user accounts, databases, multi-page SEO campaigns, paid advertising, ongoing content changes, domain charges or paid third-party services.
4. Price and payment
The total standard project price is £199. No VAT is currently charged. The £99 booking payment forms part of the total and reserves production time. The remaining £100 is due after approval and before public launch, transfer of final files or handover of credentials.
Additional work will not begin unless its scope and price have been agreed in writing. The client is responsible for agreed domain, hosting, software, stock asset or other third-party costs unless they are expressly included in an agreed managed plan.
5. Information and access from the client
The client must provide complete and accurate business information, content, feedback and any access reasonably needed to perform the project. The client confirms that it owns or has permission to use everything it supplies, including names, claims, logos, images and testimonials, and that publication will not infringe another person's rights or break applicable law.
The client remains responsible for checking business-specific claims, regulatory statements, prices, qualifications and required legal wording. Passwords should be shared only through a method agreed for the project and should be changed after handover where appropriate.
6. Timing
The first complete version is targeted within 48 hours after both cleared booking payment and receipt of the complete brief and required materials. The 48-hour period is a target, not a guarantee, and excludes delays caused by missing information, access, client feedback, third-party providers or events outside reasonable control. First Call Pages will tell the client promptly about a material expected delay.
7. Review and revisions
The package includes one consolidated round of reasonable copy, colour and image changes requested within five working days after the preview is sent. A new design direction, new pages, significant new content, additional functionality or further revision rounds are outside the package and may require a separate quotation.
The client must check names, contact details, links, claims, spelling, images and functionality before approving the page. Approval must be given in writing, including by email.
8. Cancellation and inactive projects
If the client cancels before work begins, the booking payment will be refunded. If the client cancels after work begins, First Call Pages may retain a reasonable amount for work already completed and production time committed, up to the £99 booking payment, and will refund any remainder.
If First Call Pages cancels without a client breach and cannot complete the agreed work, payments for undelivered work will be refunded. If required materials, access or feedback remain outstanding for 30 days, the project may be paused. Resumption will depend on availability; First Call Pages will give reasonable written notice before treating a project as abandoned.
9. Ownership and licences
Once the full project price is paid, the client owns the bespoke final website code and copy created specifically for the project. First Call Pages retains ownership of pre-existing tools, general methods, reusable components and know-how, while granting the client a perpetual licence to use any such elements included in the delivered site.
Third-party assets, software, fonts and services remain subject to their original licences and terms. Drafts and rejected concepts are not transferred. The client permits First Call Pages to display the completed work in its portfolio unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
10. Hosting and third-party services
Domains, hosting, email, payment providers, search engines and other external services are operated by third parties. First Call Pages will use reasonable care when configuring agreed services but cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability, security, pricing or future compatibility.
The optional £29 monthly managed plan is a separate ongoing service and applies only when confirmed in writing. It includes website hosting, routine maintenance, backups, basic security and uptime monitoring, email support and one small content update each paid month. Unused updates do not roll over. New pages, redesigns, new functionality and substantial content changes are quoted separately.
The managed plan runs monthly and may be cancelled by email before the next payment date. Service continues until the end of the paid period, after which managed hosting and maintenance end. Cancellation does not affect the client's ownership of the bespoke website after the full £199 project price has been paid, and a current copy of the website files will be provided on request.
11. Search and commercial results
First Call Pages does not guarantee search-engine positions, traffic, enquiries, sales or revenue. Search and commercial performance depend on factors outside the project's scope, including competition, reviews, business activity, advertising and changes made by third-party platforms.
12. Quality and corrections
First Call Pages will perform the service with reasonable care and skill. If the delivered site materially differs from the agreed scope because of our error, the client should notify us with reasonable detail and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that paragraph, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, goodwill or business opportunity. First Call Pages' total aggregate liability arising from the project will not exceed the total fees paid or payable for that project. These limits apply only so far as they are reasonable and permitted by law.
14. Confidentiality and data protection
Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the project, except where disclosure is authorised or required by law. Each party is responsible for complying with data protection law for the personal information it controls. Our handling of enquiries and client administration is described in the privacy notice.
15. Resolving problems
Please send a complaint to will@firstcallpages.com with the project name, the problem and the outcome requested. We will acknowledge it within two working days and aim to provide a substantive response within ten working days. Both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve a dispute before starting court proceedings.
16. General
Neither party may transfer the contract without the other's written consent, except as part of a genuine transfer of its business. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. A person who is not a party to the contract has no right to enforce it.
The contract is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
